Wondering how a smoothie can help you feel calmer?

The super foods like mango are abundant in nourishing B-complex vitamins, folic acid, selenium, zinc, magnesium, and potassium, all shown to reduce that stress-out buzz and release nervous tension. The greens are chock full of magnesium, which is the number one needed nutrient to ease tension. Last, but not least, Ashwaganda is a booster similar to ginseng.

  • 1 cup chopped frozen mango
  • 2 tbsp ground flax
  • 2 cups organic baby spinach
  • 1 cup organic baby kale
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1 fresh squeezed lime
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp ashwaganda
  • 2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
No mango? Try frozen papaya with a little pineapple.

The Steps to Take

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!
